Moving or Rearranging Office Computer/Phone Request

If you or your department needs to move and/or rearrange any of your computing equipment (computer, monitor, phone, printers, etc.) for any reason please let us know in advance so that we can confirm complete computing functionality once moved!

In addition, if your move involves office furniture/d├ęcor, you need to complete a Buildings and Grounds Work Request, located in public folders!

To start your requests for moving your computing equipment send an email to helpdesk@genesee.edu with the following information:

- Name of person moving

- From what department/campus? (ex: Admissions, Lima Campus, etc.)

- Current office location: (Campus/Building/Room)

- New office location: (Campus/Building/Room)

- Is this part of a multiple office move?

- Office phone to be moved?

- What is the phone extension number to be moved?

- In an effort o co-ordinate all office moves between the requester, building and grounds and computer services, what is the anticipated move date?

Please note that in some cases network and/or phone drop may need to be configured, please allow at least 8 business days for this work to be completed.  

You will be contacted by the Telecommunications and Desktop teams to discuss the work involved in this request and a timeline.
